LaserNet Helps Healthcare Providers Understand the Trend toward the Electronic Delivery of Patient Statements
MILWAUKEE, March 2, 2010 – Ane Ohm, President of LaserNet, Inc., will be a featured speaker at the MUSE Conference in Wheeling, IL, scheduled from March 22 - 24, 2010. Ane's presentation will address the healthcare industry trend toward electronic patient statement delivery and online bill payment.
With experience managing both paper and electronic patient statements, Ane will offer a thoughtful, knowledgeable assessment of this trend. Her presentation will include a discussion of enhancing the patient experience as well as operational efficiencies to be gained, including consolidated business functions and paper and postage savings. In a balanced discussion, Ane will also address pitfalls of electronic delivery and help organizations evaluate whether eDelivery is an appropriate solution for them.
"There is a great deal of confusion about exactly what eDelivery is, the implementation process, and the true scope of eDelivery and online bill pay capabilities," says Ane. "I look forward to the opportunity to educate our audience on this important topic."
The MUSE Wheeling Conference will be held at the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, IL from March 22 through March 24, 2010. MUSE, which stands for Medical Users Software Exchange, is the largest independent Meditech users group in the world, with hundreds of hospital members.
